The Ampeg V-4 was America's response to 100 Watt Marshall in the 70's. Our V4 has recently has been serviced and sounds immense. Two inputs are a great advantage if you're using two different pick up configurations, i.e. passive and active or single coil and humbucker, and you can set the input sensitivity accordingly. Standard volume for each channel, Treble, Midrange, and Bass, and onboard spring reverb conjure everything from chimey cleans to saturated overdrive. Chances are if you've listened to a rock record from the 70s, you've heard this amp! The black rocker switches above the controls just are as integral in shaping your tone. -9dB, -6dB, or 0dB pad for each channel, Ultra Hi for clarity which you can cut, leave neutral, or boost, and a mid range shift at 300Hz, 1000Hz, and 3000Hz. Taking a look at the rear panel from left to right Ampeg provides a Hum Balance, Extension Amp In and Out, Reverb Lock, Footswitch, Speaker Outputs, and an Impedance Selector with 2, 4, and 8 ohms.
