It plays and sounds incredible.  This is a rare opportunity to get into a factory original finish Stratocaster from 1966, at a great price.  The pickups and electronics are original with a pot codes of 1376514, showing the CTS  manufacture date of 14th week of 1966. The neck date stamp shows 13 MAY 66 B, designating it as manufactured in MAY of 1966. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe original electronics shield is intact as is the original cloth wiring. The original nut is in the case and there was a duplicate crafted and installed later on. The neck and frets look and feel great and it plays with ease. The neck is straight and the string action \/ playability outstanding. A reissue plush lined hard shell case is included. This one is a really nice example, made in 1966, that looks, plays and sounds incredible!
