The Radial Engineering Bassbone OD is a powerful 2 channel preamp with overdrive, effects loop, direct output, and headphone jack for silent practicing. Each channel has 3 band equalization with mid shift and hi pass filter switches. If you only use one bass, you can set each channel and utilize them individually with the A/B switch. Channel A has a piezo boost and Channel B's Drag control adjusts the input sensitivity. Both channels can be used simultaneously with a stereo instrument and can be blended together. The Overdrive Channel includes drive, mix, and tone controls as well as an effect assign switch dictating whether the overdrive footswitch activates the overdrive, effects loop, or both. The effects loop can also be used full time allowing users to patch in their favorite pedals regardless of the overdrive. The direct out signal can be changed a few different ways with or without the effects loop, ground canceling, and polarity flip allowing ultimate flexibility when routing to the front of house.
