Mesa Engineering has been a big name in rock and metal amplification for 40 years and this Dual Rectifier Solo Head is among their most versatile. Each channel contains bass, middle, treble, presence, gain, and volume controls with a voicing dipswitch. The solo boost also has a level adjustment to dial in that extra gain and volume. Turning the amp over and starting on the left is a slave output with level adjustment incase this 100 watt behemoth isn't enough. 5 speaker outputs ranging from 16 to 4 ohms make it compatible with any cabinet pairing. The effects loop can be bypassed entirely, channel specific, or footswitch controlled and has an in volume and out volume. External switch jacks for each channel to manually access all the features this amp has packed in. The fixed bias switch allows for two different tube types to be run in the amp changing it's overdrive response and hi end clarity. Although you could skip the tube section for the silicon diodes with it's respective switch. The power switch is key component to this amp's performance. "Spongy" is a low power mode that has less defined low end with "Bold" being high power mode and very articulate.
