First produced in 1960 as an upgrade to the Precision bass, the Jazz bass has been in the quiver of many studio and full time musicians alike such as Jaco Pastorius, Joe Dart, Flea, Prince, Getty Lee, and John Paul Jones. This Made in Mexico Standard Jazz Bass features an Alder body finished in metallic Wine Red with upraded Dimarzio pickups and 3-ply white pickguard providing a powerful sound to this ageless bass. This is bolted to a Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard with a gloss finish for fast and easy fretting. Individual Volume and master Tone controls allow you to dial up every sound from deep fundamental bass to nasally mid forward punch and everything in between.
