The ST-800 functions as a stereo panner as well as a providing a tremolo effect. It is a great basic tremolo when used in mono or an immersive stereo weapon when both outputs are used to feed separate amplifiers. It contains a low-frequency occillator (LFO) which modulates the volume of the signal to create a tremolo effect (when used with a single output) or a stereo panning, or "ping-pong", effect (when used with a pair of outputs). A single knob labeled "Speed" controls the speed, or rate, of the effect with values ranging from 0.2Hz to 12Hz. 1970s Made by Maxon in Japan.
