1961 Goya Model-80 Blue Sparkle
477/332
Regular price $1,495.00 Save $-1,495.00This is an original 1961 Goya Model 80. This 2 pickup blue sparkle-finished guitar was built in Sweden by Hagstrom Guitars. This is one of the nicest examples we have ever seen. The guitar is of bolt-on construction and has lots of ‘60s appointments with the blue sparkle paired with the blue sparkle pearloid covering, similar to the period drum shells. It is in very nice cosmetic condition and plays well. There are some pearloid cracking that has been bonded to prevent any further movement, which is har4d to see and doesn't affect the playability. The electronics are fully functional and the instrument sounds fabulous! Goya brand guitars were made by Hagstrom in Sweden in the 50's and 60's for the North American market. This 1961 Model 80 with a blue sparkle top has loads of vibe. It has a chambered body and is constructed of wood and pearloid covering. The pearloid back is extra cool. There are two single coil pickups that are selected through a bank of push buttons. Pickup volume is controlled with individual thumbwheels. The beautiful sound of this guitar in a clean amp is as impressive as it's sound in a distorted tube amp from the 60's!

Custom 24 SE Semi-Hollow Piezo Lake Blue w/ Bag
CPSH44LB
Regular price MSRP $2,284.00 Sale price $1,599.00 Save $685.00The PRS SE Custom 24 Semi-Hollow Piezo is a highly sophisticated and incredibly versatile instrument. The Custom 24 is the original design first introduced by PRS in 1985 as a solidbody guitar with maple top, mahogany back, dual humbuckers, and the patented PRS tremolo. This semi-hollow version adds natural resonance and a vibrant, organic tone.
The humbuckers in this model are PRS 85/15 “S” pickups, which can be tapped via the push/pull tone control for more sounds. The addition of the LR Baggs/PRS Piezo system furthers the instrument’s versatility by offering electric and acoustic tones in one guitar. The PRS SE Custom 24 Semi-Hollow Piezo is designed with two discrete volume controls (magnetics and piezo) and output jacks (mix/piezo and magnetics). Players can plug into the “Mix/Piezo” jack and use the individual volume controls to blend the 85/15 “S” pickups with the piezo’s acoustic tones. Alternatively, players can plug into the jacks separately, so the guitar can run magnetic pickups into an amp and run the piezo through an acoustic amp or DI into the soundboard. When using the magnetic output jack in isolation, the piezo battery is bypassed completely, acting as a failsafe (in this scenario, the magnetic pickups still work even if the piezo battery has run out of juice).

1954 Precision Bass / Blonde w/ HSC ~by appointment only~
1003
Regular price $27,500.00 Save $-27,500.00By appointment only - local pickup only. This is a single family owned, early 1954 original Blonde Fender Precision Bass in Very Good condition. This would be a fantastic addition to a professional players' on stage arsenal or to a collectors stash. Please view all the detailed photos to determine condition to your standards and expectations. There is minor wear on this instrument, considering it is 70 years old, as opposed to some others that have been refurbished or refinished - losing it's originality along the way. It is sporting the original 1950's factory see-thru Blonde lacquer finish over the beautiful select grain Ash wood on the body, and the beautiful clear Maple wood neck. The pick gard is original Bakelite material (pre-plastic, like the old dial telephones from that era). The original markings in this instrument that were photographed for this listing show a handwritten note from factory worker "Gloria" in the electronics cavity, a hand written 11-53 in the neck cavity and "TF-3-54" on the neck heel, bringing this bass to a manufacture year of 1954. The serial number is stamped into the bridge and reads 1003. This bass plays, sounds and feels terrific, like an icon bass from this era should. This is a true time capsule and may be the finest example available for purchase at this time. It is housed in a 1960's Fender bass case with the orange velvet lining and black tolex exterior. Because of the tremendous value and collectability of this iconic bass, it is marked as local pickup only. The right buyer of this fantastic find will have to arrange their own shipping or buy a seat on a plane to their destination. We can't risk damage or loss in the standard shipping arena. We will assist in delivering the instrument to a packer and shipper of the buyers choice, within 20 miles of our location.

1966 Casino E-230TD Sunburst w/ HSC
S-851675
Regular price $8,200.00 Save $-8,200.00This 1966 double pickup vintage Epiphone E-230TD Casino is a fine example of a guitar that made remarkable history with many period bands of the 1960's including the Beatles. After the introduction in 1961, the Casino was just one of several new thinline archtops designed and produced at the company’s adopted new factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan that it shared with all the new Gibson guitars. This great example has a double bound all maple body with the early production warm faded cherry sunburst finish, f-holes, and a bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard with parallelogram inlays. The CTS pots date to 1966 with a code of 1376631. It is equipped with two P-90 pickups with chrome covers, trapeze tailpiece, and Kluson Deluxe tuners. This one has the sought after large headstock and includes a newer hard shell case. It plays and sounds great and has the period lacquer checking throughout. The original early soft cherry sunburst finish on the face is faded beautifully to a warm burst and the rear walnut color looks rich and attractive as well. It is a great piece of rock 'n roll history, ready for a collection, studio work or gig time. The Casino was adopted by Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones who used one to record the demo for “Satisfaction” at Chess Records in Chicago. Howlin' Wolf took a Casino on his first tour of the UK, appearing on Thank Your Lucky Stars. Paul McCartney purchased his Casino first, loved it, and then John Lennon and George Harrison bought Casinos and used them on the Beatles' 1966 world tour. John elevated the use of his Casino more than the others, using it on many records and videos, then later stripped the sunburst finish and played it on the roof concert sporting the natural wood look. The casino was his most famous instrument while in the Beatles.

Custom Shop '59 Reissue Relic Precision Bass w/ OHSC
S-R34660
Regular price MSRP $4,850.00 Sale price $3,950.00 Save $900.00Since 1951, the Fender Precision bass has made its mark in practically every genre of music imaginable.
The Fender Custom Shop 1959 Relic Precision Bass pays tribute to the landmark Precision Basses that put Fender on the map in the studios and stages, with accurate detailing including electronics and hardware - from the split humbucking pickup to the vintage tuning machines and bridge. The chrome bridge and pickup covers were included to further the authenticity of this Custom Shop build.
In 1959, Fender added the Rosewood fingerboard and then the Tortoise shell pickguard to the Precision Bass. After the Rosewood slab board was added to the production of these basses, Fender decided to use up the remaining gold-anodized aluminum pickguards before switching to the Tortoise Shell gards, waiting to be introduced. This very short period of time has become a highly collectable version of the Precision Bass, only lasting for a few months. This is the Custom Shop tribute to this highly collectable Precision Bass.
This beauty is an USA Custom Shop made in 2008 and played ever since. It has a real lacquer finish on it, chrome pickup and bridge covers as the original 1959 Precision had, and the vintage style bridge and tuning machines as well. The wear on this bass is relic'd wear produced in the factory Custom Shop facility by mimicking 70+ years of heavy gigging. This bass includes it's original vintage style hard shell plush lined case, owners manual and lacquer finish brochure.

1952 Precision Bass / Blonde w/ HSC ~by appointment only~
0443
Regular price $28,000.00 Save $-28,000.00By appointment only / local pickup only. This is truly an amazing example of one of the earliest Fender basses produced in the first factory in Fullerton, California. It is an early 1952 original Blonde Fender Precision Bass in Very Good condition. It is still wearing it’s original 1950's factory see-thru Blonde lacquer finish over the beautiful select grain Ash wood on the body, and the beautiful played-in clear grain quarter sawn Maple neck. The pick guard is original Bakelite material (pre-plastic, like the old Bell telephones from that time). The original markings in this instrument that were photographed for this listing show a hand written Kenney Jones 9-5-52 in the neck cavity and "FG 10-15-52" on the neck heel, bringing this bass to a manufacture year of 1952. Being a very early production Precision bass, it has slot head screws on the pick guard, on the reverse tuning machines, on the neck plate and in the neck on the truss rod, for adjustment. The serial number is stamped into the bridge and reads 0443. This bass plays, sounds and feels terrific, like an iconic bass from this era should. This is a true time capsule and may be the finest playing and sounding example available for purchase at this time. It rings out loud and clear, even acoustically, without amplification. This would be a fantastic addition to a professional players' on-stage bass selection or to a collectors coveted stash. Please view all the detailed photos to determine condition to your standards and expectations. There is real honest playing wear on this instrument, considering it is 72 year old age, as opposed to some others that show actual damage or having been refurbished or refinished - losing it's originality along the way. This bass includes a 60's hard shell Fender bass case with the orange velvet lining and black tolex exterior. Due to the tremendous value and collectability of this iconic bass, it is listed as local pickup only. The right buyer of this fantastic find will have to arrange their own shipping or buy a seat on a plane to their destination. We can't risk damage or loss in the standard shipping arena. We will, however, assist in delivering the instrument to a packer and shipper of the buyers choice, within a reasonable distance of our location.
