This cool vintage solid wood Gibson acoustic guitar is an excellent opportunity to own and play a great collectible instrument at a very reasonable price. The folk boom the 1950s and 1960s garnered lots of attention due to its passionate lyrical concepts that resonated with the youth of the time as well as great instrumentation. This led to many young people gaining interest in music thus forcing big manufacturers to nurture this new market of players. Purchased by it's original owner in 1959, this LG-0 consists of an all Mahogany concert-sized body with ladder bracing creating a mellower tone and more enjoyable playing experience for smaller players. The Mahogany neck is a full 24 3/4" scale length with the original 3-on-a-plate button tuners and Gibson silk screen logo still dawning the headstock. This beauty has a Rosewood bridge, a bone nut and saddle and pearl dot inlays along the Rosewood fingerboard. This Gibson LG-0 plays and sounds incredible and includes the original chipboard case.
