Taking advantage of the acclaimed VOX Valve Reactor circuit, the AC15VR features genuine tube tone reminiscent of vintage VOX amplifiers. The Preamp stages consist of discrete transistors for sound generation, and integrated circuits (op-amps) to do signal management that would not be done effectively with transistors alone—i.e. channel switching, etc. The Power amp stage uses a 12AX7 vacuum tube in a special configuration that is VOX's Valve Reactor. Add in the additional high gain channel, digital reverb and 8 ohm extension speaker output, the AC15VR is well-equipped for the stage or studio. Local pickup only.
