James Burns, best described as Britain's Leo Fender, was fixated on realizing his vision of the ideal electric guitar. Many players ended up falling in love with his instruments including professionals like Hank Marvin, Wishbone Ash, Andy Bell of Oasis, and the Suffrajets. The Club series Marquee comes equipped with chrome hardware as standard, Alder body, classic polyester finish, Burns deluxe tremolo unit, and three Burns alnico Rez-o-matik pickups. A 5-way selector switch and push/pull tone control add a variety of sounds not typically found in s-style electric guitars. The Marquee's bolt-on maple neck maintains the legacy with it's traditional scroll headstock, but with even more functionality thanks to the bi-flex two way truss rod and 25.5" scale length.
