Danelectro owner Steve Ridinger created the FOXX pedal line in the 1970s. Steve priced the FOXX Tone Machine at $49. Today originals sell for $600+. Now Steve brings back his original circuit with some important tweaks. He made the octave way more pronounced, the octave is foot switchable, the tone is warmer, and there is a mid boost toggle that counteracts the mid cut of the original pedal. Velvet tone for sure! 

Now back in the 1970s, it was cool to have a phone number that spelled your product name. So about a year after the launching FOXX pedals, Steve looked at a dial phone and worked out the numbers that were needed to spell FOXX.

Nobody does Reverse Delay like this. Invented by Danelectro in 1999, this pedal has avhieved cult status. Originals cost a small fortune. Why? Because of its warm violin-like tone. It literally flips the phrase you just played and plays it backwards. There's nothing like it! Party like it's 1999. Because it is!

This 50 year old is just hitting its stride. Over the top fuzz with super hot octave effect. A mint example will cost you plenty, but it still not sound half as good as this. Danelectro has amped the gain and added a powerful two band EQ. Tasteful harmonics with super "out front" octave instantly adds excitement to your lead playing.

In the hills above Hollywood, California… sit several well known canyons. Beachwood Canyon, to the East of Hollywood, is home to the famous HOLLYWOOD sign. To the West sits Nichols Canyon, where Foxx pedals founder and current Danelectro owner Steve lived with his parents in the mid 1960’s. It was in the garage of that home on Nichols Canyon Place that Steve created his first effects pedal, which he named “The Liverpool Fuzz Tone”. Steve had no money to buy a fuzz and no access to any schematics. So he created a completely unique circuit architecture that has never been seen again. Although he called his box a “fuzz”, it was in fact half way between a distortion and a fuzz. This incredible box dishes out delicious tones unlike those of any pedal ever made. While Steve labored to create this new box in 1966, less than 2 miles away in Laurel Canyon musicians were collaborating on what would become the most famous songs of the 1960’s.

Rewind to 1968. Famous guitar god uses this pedal to record his first album. Entire planet goes nuts. Inexplicably, the pedal then disappears. Until now. Danelectro resurrects this awesome, incredibly organic sounding pedal. 6 position “Break Up” control takes your ­guitar signal and slams the front of your amp with increasing punch. Positions 1 through 3 are ear-friendly and have “leave on all the time” potential. Positions 4 through 6 grab you and knock you back against the nearest piece of ­concrete. But in the most ­pleasant way. Caution: Do not ­listen to this… unless you want it to be your life companion.
