This is an original 1969 Gibson EB-1 bass, all original and in excellent condition. The EB-1 violin style bodied bass of this era was only made from 1968-1970 and had a short-scale 30,5" neck with 20 frets which are in great shape. This epic bass delivers a large growling sound was made famous by Felix Pappalardi with Mountain as well as jack Bruce of Cream fame.  This bass includes it’s original hard shell case. The finish is clear lacquer over the solid Mahogany body and neck. These basses were hand pin striped over the Mahogany, around the edges, prior to the factory application of the clear finish. VERY cool piece of History, that also plays and sounds tremendous!

The Gibson Les Paul "The Paul" is a no frills hard rock and metal machine. First launched in 1978 "The Paul" sports an all walnut construction with an unbound ebony fingerboard, modified selector switch position, and no factory pick guard. 1980 marks the addition of features present on this instrument including the branded headstock logo and volute headstock construction for increased rigidity. The contoured edges facilitate ease of play along the body and the original Gibson T-Top pickups sound very full and clear.

Available for sale is an all original 1997 Gibson Custom Shop ES-5 Switchmaster 17" hollow-body archtop guitar in the SUPER RARE and highly desirable Translucent Cherry lacquer finish. The top, back, and sides all display beautiful flame maple. All original ES-5 Switchmasters with humbuckers are becoming increasingly more difficult to find regardless of price or condition. Five-ply binding is installed on the fingerboard as well as on the front and back of the body. The five-piece neck (three pieces of flame maple with two walnut strips separating them) sports a pointed-end rosewood fretboard with large block inlays. The headstock is bound in front, has a stinger on the back and is factory equipped with gold-plated Grover tuners. B.B. King, Carl Perkins, and Wes Montgomery all turned to their ES-5s for their sonic versatility and its no wonder. The three humbucking pickups perform exceptionally well and―together with the four-position selector switch―offer a wide range of tones not otherwise found on a full hollow body electric. There are no alterations to the body, neck or electronics. No part of this guitar has been drilled since leaving the factory. The intonation is perfect and the action allows for smooth and easy playability. Hardshell case included.

The LPJ offers all the ingredients that made the Les Paul Standard legendary; classic tone woods, humbucking pickups, and of course Gibson's acclaimed build quality and playability. It's all wrapped up in a stripped-down, no-nonsense package that makes this guitar a flat-out performer. Simpler aesthetics and a worn-look-finish add up to big savings, and the LPJ still looks great.

From the beginning, the Les Paul Standard has had a mahogany body with a carved maple top. The LPJ begins with these same cornerstones of tone. When paired, these woods offer a tonal depth and complexity unmatched by any single-wood construction - with warmth and richness from the mahogany, and clarity and snap from the maple. The body is weight relieved to improve comfort and enhance resonance. Maple is used for the neck for added strength. It's carved to the rounded '50s profile, and topped with a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and trapezoid inlays. There's no pickguard or fingerboard binding to clutter the straight-on, stripped-down look.

A pair of Gibson humbuckers fire up the LPJ through your amp of choice. Made in the image of the legendary PAF's and updated to suit the needs of the contemporary guitarist, the set includes a 490R in the neck position and a 498T in the bridge. Gibson branded hardshell case included.

This is a really nice Gibson produced Dobro square-neck resonator guitar.  The model is called the Hound Dog and it has a factory installed pickup system inside.  It is a natural wood instrument and the tone is beautiful.  It is in excellent condition.   If you play, or want to play slide, this guitar will make you VERY happy!
