Hofner's Verthin guitars were inspired by 1950s era Gibson ES models featuring a similar semi hollow design and pickup configuration, but with vastly different body dimensions. This Contemporary series Verythin Deluxe, Made in Germany, retains the qualities of the early guitars with upgraded flamed Maple top, back, and sides. Binding follows every contour of this guitar: front, back, fretboard, and headstock adding a subtle layer of definition and elegance to this already stunning instrument. 2 proprietary Hofner humbuckers deliver sounds old and new and tune-o-matic style bridge provides excellent playability and intonation.
