This beautiful 1981 Gibson Les Paul comes equipped with all the standard Les Paul appointments; duel humbucking pick-ups, Nashville bridge, and solid stop tailpiece for incredible sustain and tuning stability. Les Pauls from this era feature a three-piece maple neck construction, which adds a snappier, brighter tone and attack; just think back to the great hard rock tones of the late 70s and 80s! The Tobacco Sunburst finish is simply iconic. The original Kluson-style tuners were replaced with Grover rotomatic tuners for improved tuning stability. Finally, the factory original Gibson "Shaw-bucker" pick-ups are known for articulation, clarity, and warmth with a medium output. This Les Paul is a tone machine!
