The Gibson EB-0 is a true design classic. From its SG body launch in 1961 to its demise decades later, it remained Gibson's most popular bass, making up almost a third of all Gibson solid body bass sales. Jermaine Jackson of the Jackson Five, Billy Kinsley of the Merseybeats, Dave Ambrose of the Brian Auger Trinity, and Dennis Dunaway of Alice Cooper all gravitated towards the EB-0 and it's cousin, the dual pickup EB-3 for its key features like the 30" scale length, 1.72" nut width, lightweight mahogany construction, and deep humbucking tones. Simple volume and tone controls are all you need to dial in this great playing vintage bass. Replacement OEM tuning machines were swapped out likely to improve overall balance, yet retains the original bridge and hand and finger rests. This bass had a headstock crack ,many years ago, that has been repaired and touched up. It also has upgraded tuners and the original tuner holes are visible (see pictures). The pickup has been updated as well and can be coil split for a more defined tone, if the future owner likes.

When we think of venerable Randy Rhoads we think of 3 guitars; the white Gibson Les Paul Custom, the custom polka dot Flying V, and his Rhoads V with pinstriped beveling and tremolo system. Now you can own a little piece of history with the Jackson Pro Series RR3. These guitars feature neck-through construction for maximum sustain. The maple neck-through construction is joined with two mahogany wings for excellent balance; no neck dive here! The fully bound ebony fingerboard features 22 jumbo frets and pearloid shark fin inlays. The 12”-16” compound radius is the ideal playing surface for fast riffs and easy chording near the locking nut while gradually flattening in the upper registers for lightning-quick solos and wide bends without fear of fretting out. Duane Eddy was a prolific studio and live musician who, in the late 1950s and early 1960s, had a string of hit records including "Rebel-'Rouser", "Peter Gunn", and "Because They're Young". When Gretsch created their G6120DE Duane Eddy signature model, they set out to preserve as much of the feel and style of Eddy's original 1957 G6120 archtop as possible. They started by giving the G6120DE Duane Eddy a 3-piece maple neck with the exact profile (and headstock) as Eddy's prized G6120. Along with a bound rosewood fingerboard, this unique neck profile gives you an incredibly smooth feel and delightfully fast action. The 3-ply maple body features include twin DynaSonic single-coil pickups, Tru-Arc "rocking" bar bridge, lacquer finish, and trestle bracing.. just like Duane's! First introduced in 1995 the Carvin AC-40F is a slender and unique bass offering exceptional unplugged projection and tone thanks to its semi-hollow, neck-through construction. The Carvin AC-40F consists of a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and AAA Engleman spruce top creating the lightweight, resonant, and beautiful instrument. Inlayed with white line markers and white pearloid dots the ebony fingerboard reaches a full two octave range capable of handling even the most demanding of players. An LR Baggs ribbon acoustic pickup was chosen to retain the acoustic qualities of this bass, and is enhanced by a 9V preamp curcuit with Volume, Bass and Treble controls. The SE Hollowbody II Piezo combines the balanced, clear, resonant tone of a hollowbody instrument with the power and stability of a solid-body electric guitar. Constructed with a maple back and top with mahogany sides, the SE Hollowbody II Piezo offers a light shimmer and snap in an attractive package. The 58/15 “S” pickups deliver clarity and balance that sound big and musical in a hollowbody platform.

Now boasting a newly-designed LR Baggs/PRS Piezo system, the SE Hollowbody II Piezo provides musicians with the versatility of wielding both acoustic and electric tones in one instrument. The instrument is designed with two discrete volume controls (magnetics and piezo) and output jacks (mix/piezo and magnetics). Players can plug into the “Mix/Piezo” jack and use the individual volume controls to blend the 58/15 “S” pickups with the piezo’s acoustic tones. Alternatively, players can plug into the jacks separately, so the guitar can run magnetic pickups into an amp and run the piezo through an acoustic amp or DI into the soundboard. When using the magnetic output jack in isolation, the piezo battery is bypassed completely, acting as a failsafe (in this scenario, the magnetic pickups still work even if the piezo battery has run out of juice). This is the most versatile SE instrument in the Series nearly twenty-year history. PRS Branded gigbag included.

Welcome to our NEW VibraWood Custom Shop Pro builds - the new Vintage Tone Monster bringing you the best of both worlds at a performance ready balance & weight!    This is a hand made Custom Shop instrument finished in Nitro Lacquer Custom Color Olympic White. It includes our Superlite Paulownia wood body with a Canadian Flamed Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dots, Hipshot ultralite tuners, Hipshot brass bridge and custom wound vintage voiced pickups. We use a NOS vintage paper-in-oil capacitor from Ukraine in the passive custom hand wired tone circuit.  This instrument includes a full foil shielding application to the inner electronic cavities.  Very lightweight, balanced and resonant, this bass has that low mid growl, punch and presence heard on the best recordings throughout the 60's, 70's and 80's!   These basses typically weigh in around 7.5 to 8 pounds, and are ready for stage and studio performances.  Hard shell case included.

This beautiful Mirage Blue Ibanez Prestige RG1570 features an HSH pick-up configuration and Edge Pro Tremolo for excellent tuning stability. The Prestige "Wizard" neck features 24 frets, 5 piece maple and walnut construction for excellent rigidity, and the profile is thin and flat for fast shredding! Mounted to a contoured basswood body the Ibanez H7 and H8 humbuckers, along with the S1 single coil in the middle position are hot enough to shred, but versatile enough for excellent clean tones, too. Made in Japan by FujiGen, this 1985 Ibanez Pro Line Flying V is a rare instrument in great all original condition. The PR1660 features a metallic pearl white finish atop an alder body mated to a 1 piece maple neck with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard and pearloid dot position markers. Also stock for the PR1660 is the black hardware including a Ibanez Pro Rock'r tremolo, Smooth Tuner II machine heads, locking nut, and Tek Grip knobs. The 1957/2008 pickups incorporate vintage alnico magnets and PRS-exclusive wire from the original machine that made the legendary 1950s pickup wire. A PRS Narrowfield pickup in the middle position delivers the bite of a single coil, so it cuts through the mix with plenty of clarity and punch – but without the hum. Paired with a 5-way blade switch and two mini-toggles that tap the 57/08 humbuckers, this guitar can handle myriad sounds and styles (with twelve pickup combinations in total). Roll back the tone control for added growl, turn it up for some shimmer, and have fun exploring this versatile tonal palette. Ibanez' AZES guitars feature a 25" scale length, which makes for an easier playing instrument for children and players of smaller stature. Additionally, as the 25", medium scale is also large enough that the player can continue to grow with the instrument as they mature as a guitarist. The AZES guitars begin with a contoured Poplar body delivering a well-balanced tone with incredible thickness. The Maple neck provides stability and bright tonal character with an All Access Neck Joint offering superior playability at the high frets. Jatoba fingerboards were selected for their reddish brown color and the rich mid range with a crisp high end which they produce. The die-cast housing on the Ibanez tuning machines protects from dust and the split-shaft makes it easy to change the strings. This T106 bridge is equipped with Ibanez' newly developed comfort round steel saddles. Its construction provides wider range of height adjustment and ease of setting up. The screws are less likely to stick out, leading to less stress on your strumming hand and better playing comfort. Lastly, the dyna-MIX 9 offers nine sound variations and can switch between humbucker and single coil modes with just a flick of the mini switch. By appointment only (off site) - local pickup only.     This is a single family owned, early 1954 original Blonde Fender Precision Bass in Very Good condition. This would be a fantastic addition to a professional players' on stage arsenal or to a collectors stash. Please view all the detailed photos to determine condition to your standards and expectations. There is minor wear on this instrument, considering it is 70 years old, as opposed to some others that have been refurbished or refinished - losing it's originality along the way. It is sporting the original 1950's factory see-thru Blonde lacquer finish over the beautiful select grain Ash wood on the body, and the beautiful clear Maple wood neck. The pick gard is original Bakelite material (pre-plastic, like the old dial telephones from that era). The original markings in this instrument that were photographed for this listing show a handwritten note from factory worker "Gloria" in the electronics cavity, a hand written 11-53 in the neck cavity and "TF-3-54" on the neck heel, bringing this bass to a manufacture year of 1954. The serial number is stamped into the bridge and reads 1003. This bass plays, sounds and feels terrific, like an icon bass from this era should. This is a true time capsule and may be the finest example available for purchase at this time. It is housed in a 1960's Fender bass case with the orange velvet lining and black tolex exterior. Because of the tremendous value and collectability of this iconic bass, it is marked as local pickup only. This 1966 double pickup vintage Epiphone E-230TD Casino is a fine example of a guitar that made remarkable history with many period bands of the 1960's including the Beatles. After the introduction in 1961, the Casino was just one of several new thinline archtops designed and produced at the company’s adopted new factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan that it shared with all the new Gibson guitars. This great example has a double bound all maple body with the early production warm faded cherry sunburst finish, f-holes, and a bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard with parallelogram inlays. The CTS pots date to 1966 with a code of 1376631.  It is equipped with two P-90 pickups with chrome covers, trapeze tailpiece, and Kluson Deluxe tuners. This one has the sought after large headstock and includes a newer hard shell case. It plays and sounds great and has the period lacquer checking throughout. The original early soft cherry sunburst finish on the face is faded beautifully to a warm burst and the rear walnut color looks rich and attractive as well. It is a great piece of rock 'n roll history, ready for a collection, studio work or gig time. The Casino was adopted by Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones who used one to record the demo for “Satisfaction” at Chess Records in Chicago. Howlin' Wolf took a Casino on his first tour of the UK, appearing on Thank Your Lucky Stars. Paul McCartney purchased his Casino first, loved it, and then John Lennon and George Harrison bought Casinos and used them on the Beatles' 1966 world tour. John elevated the use of his Casino more than the others, using it on many records and videos, then later stripped the sunburst finish and played it on the roof concert sporting the natural wood look. The Epiphone Casino was his most famous instrument while in the Beatles. Because of the tremendous value and collectability of this iconic guitar, it is marked as local pickup only. Great sound was certainly obtainable from Danelectros – as Jimmy Page proved with his Shorthorn six string and John Entwhistle demonstrated to a similar level of perfection with the Longhorn bass. The Stock '59 is constructed with a lightweight hardboard/plywood center-block body that delivers that jangly signature "Dano" sound with enhanced sustain. In addition, a maple neck with pau ferro fingerboard offers smooth playability, while the traditional bridge with wood swivel saddle and aluminum nut play their part in flawlessly re-creating the "Dano" sound heard on countless hit records.

Since 1951, the Fender Precision bass has made its mark in practically every genre of music imaginable.

The Fender Custom Shop 1959 Relic Precision Bass pays tribute to the landmark Precision Basses that put Fender on the map in the studios and stages, with accurate detailing including electronics and hardware - from the split humbucking pickup to the vintage tuning machines and bridge. The chrome bridge and pickup covers were included to further the authenticity of this Custom Shop build.

In 1959, Fender added the Rosewood fingerboard and then the Tortoise shell pickguard to the Precision Bass. After the Rosewood slab board was added to the production of these basses, Fender decided to use up the remaining gold-anodized aluminum pickguards before switching to the Tortoise Shell gards, waiting to be introduced. This very short period of time has become a highly collectable version of the Precision Bass, only lasting for a few months. This is the Custom Shop tribute to this highly collectable Precision Bass.

This beauty is an USA Custom Shop made in 2008 and played ever since. It has a real lacquer finish on it, chrome pickup and bridge covers as the original 1959 Precision had, and the vintage style bridge and tuning machines as well. The wear on this bass is relic'd wear produced in the factory Custom Shop facility by mimicking 70+ years of heavy gigging. This is a hand carved Custom Shop instrument. It is one of only one ever produced and it is offered for sale. We love the 50's, 60's and early 70's Fender instruments and this is our interpretation of those with very lightweight bodies, superior craftsmanship and great resonance.   

Natural vintage tint color on a Superlite body, tinted maple neck & fingerboard, Vintage style Custom wound pickups and a NOS vintage paper in oil capacitor from Ukraine in the tone circuit. We used a Vibrawood specific bridge and locking tuners on this guitar with compensated brass saddles for absolute tonal balance and intonation adjustability. Very light and resonant! This is an amazing instrument and destined for collectability due to it's quality and rarity!

This is an in-house hand made Custom Shop instrument. This Custom Shop bass is our tribute to the 1956 Precision Bass with an Ash body finished in Vintage Two Tone Sunburst and a Maple neck and fingerboard. This bass has a custom wound vintage style single coil  pickup creating that legendary early P-Bass vintage tone and a NOS vintage paper in oil capacitor from Ukraine in the tone circuit. With a very strong and resonant voice, this bass has that open P-Bass sound heard on stage and in the best recordings throughout the 60's, 70's and 80's! Sting has used his early single coil P-Bass throughout his career. The Vintage Sunburst light relic finish looks extremely classy over the broad grain of the wood and is accentuated with the early large style white pick guard.  Original chrome covers over the bridge and pickup makes this bass look like a real blast from the past. The '58 style 4 saddle bridge used on this tribute bass ensures correct intonation and playability.  This bass, #101 in our series so far, is a limited run and includes a hard shell case.  

We are producing these as our version of vintage Fender instruments made in the 50's. 60's and early 70's. Highly sought after original vintage instruments can bring well over 10,000. and taking them on stage and into studios is a serious risk. These Custom Shop instruments are light weight, resonant and have the feel, playability and tone of the old treasured instruments. They can be used for touring and recording without the risk of loss or damage.
