The SG is one of the best selling guitars among rock players having been used by Frank Zappa, AC/DC, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, and countless others. This SG pays homage to the guitars of yesteryear being built with the same great precision and care. Like the real 1961s, this SG features a SlimTaper Mahogany neck and bound Rosewood fingerboard. The Mahogany body features deeply sculpted body scarfing, a 5-ply teardrop pickguard, and a 22nd-fret neck joint. The nickel-plated hardware includes a classic-style Tune-O-Matic bridge and Gibson Deluxe Keystone tuners. The 60s Burstbucker humbuckers produce a classic voice with added power and top end. Individual Volume and Tone controls, gloss neck, and heel joint strap button make this guitar easy to wear and to play. SKB flight case included.
